Goodbyes & Hellos at the Airport

We just said goodbye so they could say hello.

For those of us that traveled to Cambodia last year, this goodbye felt strange. But God is in Cambodia just like He is in America, and that gives every strange feeling a dose of peace.

We will miss them and our Cambodian friends!

Looking forward to hearing from them,
Jeff and Kathy Pickering

Almost Time!

Last night most of the team met to pack the trip supplies in second suitcases. It was exciting to see all of the supplies for the hair design school, including some crazy looking manikins. We also packed the supplies for the conference, some clothes for the orphanage, and some swimming noodles for games and recreation...we won't be swimming in the Mei Kong River.

Thanks for praying for our team! We know so many are already praying, and we have had a request for the names of the team members so you can pray specifically.

The Beginning...

This is the beginning of a blog created to provide updates on the upcoming Brazos Pointe Fellowship mission trip to Cambodia. A team of 13 will be leaving on December 31st and returning on January 10th. As final preparations are made and as the trip gets underway, updates will be posted by the team. The purpose of this trip is very exciting! The team will conduct a Bible Club for the children of the orphanage, a Pastor's Conference for many pastors from around the country, a hair cutting and design school for residents of the village, and installing a water filtration system to be used at the orphanage.Pray for those going, those they will meet and those staying behind - that all will have hope and share hope!
